![]() Michael Guthrie, M.D., Dr. Guthrie eceived his undergraduate degree from St Josephs University in Philadelphia and his medical degree from St Georges University School of Medicine. He completed his internship at Hospitals of The University of Pennsylvania Presbyterian Medical Center of Philadelphia and his residency at Allegheny University Hospital-Graduate, Philadelphia, PA.. He is on staff at Delaware Valley Orthopedic and Spine Surgicenter. Dr. Guthries physiatry practice has a strong focus on Nuerodiagnostic studies (EMGs), musculo-skeletal problems and cervical and lumbar pain management. At the Spine Center in Philadelphia he was the Chief Physician for non-surgical rheumatological and orthopedic patient care as well as supervision of the physical therapy department. In performing fluoroscopic guided interventional pain management the procedures included selective cervical and lumbar facet joint blocks, cervical and lumbar epidural blocks, discograms, intradiscal cortisone injections, and rhizotomy. He is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American Medical Society.
