John T. Wheeler, PA-C

is a Physician Assistant that is nationally certified with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. He is also certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Life Support. He is on staff at Delaware Valley Orthopedic and Spine Surgicenter.

John Wheeler graduated from Hahnemann University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree. He started his medical training as a hospital corpsman and physical therapy technician in the US Navy. He has been a Physician Assistant for the past eight years where he has specialized in orthopedics, pain management, and cardiothoracic surgery.

He is also the Safety Officer for both the facility and the patients for the Delaware Valley Orthopedic and Spine Surgicenter .which is a state of the art Surgicenter that is licensed by the State of Pennsylvania and is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.

John Wheeler a native of the Philadelphia Area is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and a member of Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants. He currently holds the rank of Lieutenant in the US Naval Reserves and organization that he has been part of for the last 18 years.
